The HP UV Fluorescent Red Print Cartridge is designed to meet strict postal requirements for security-enhanced information on envelopes and other mail items. To meet even higher postal digital security specifications, the ink contains ultraviolet (UV) dyes that are invisible to the human eye. This print cartridge is designed to print 600 dots per inch in applications where high-quality output is required, and the ink takes less than one second to dry on porous media. Non-contact, drop-on-demand inkjet technology delivers reliable, quiet printing. Integrated Driver Head (IDH) technology coordinates individual nozzles through a multiplexing scheme that fires all 300 nozzles through 52 interconnect pads.
The print cartridge, which can be snapped in and out for easy replacement, has a thermal sense resistor to measure temperature and enable thermal management and burnout protection for the printhead.
